Young Ambassadors Program

The Chamber has the opportunity to work with four Young Ambassadors who bring ideas and suggestions to help get our youth involved in community activities. The Young Ambassador Program is a Scholarship program that is open to high school students who want to represent the Barron Chamber and the community. Candidates are judged on their scholastic achievements, involvement in school and community activities.

Young Ambassadors

Each Young Ambassador can earn a $500 scholarship upon completion of their term. The Young Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 season are: Jada Brunkow, Lauren Maas, Kami Zurn.YA 2019 Photo



Application Process

To apply, submit a Young Ambassador Application (PDF) along with a current resume to Barron High School Student Services, email the Barron Chamber of Commerce, or mail the application to the Barron Chamber of Commerce at:

Interviews

Interviews will be held in May. The selected Young Ambassadors are required to attend a variety of Chamber sponsored events, such as (but not limited to):

  • Annual Meeting
  • Business and Industry Day
  • Fall Fest
  • Local parades
  • Music in the Park
  • Santa’s Workshop
  • Other community related events
