City Hall is CLOSED

ATTENTION CITY OF BARRON RESIDENTS:
Due to current Covid-19 concerns, it is the City of Barron’s intent to be proactive in doing our part to prevent the spread of this disease. It is the City’s goal to continue to serve the public, while protecting the safety of our staff. Effective Wednesday, March 18th, the City of Barron will modify operations as follows:
• The Senior Center will be closed to all social activities until further notice. The Meals on Wheels program will continue. Please call the Center at 715-537-5726 for more information.
• City Hall will be closed to foot traffic. All City departments will continue with operations as normal. City Hall staff will be available by phone at 715-537-5631 during normal business hours to assist with questions and business transactions.
o Utility Payments:
 The City is encouraging residents to pay their outstanding bills online through our website, cityofbarron.com.
 Payments via check and money order may be deposited in our secure drop box, located on the North side of our building.
 Payments via cash may be deposited in our secure drop box. If paying in cash, please insert cash into provided envelopes, and please ensure that envelopes are filled out to completion. If exact change is not provided, any overpayment will be applied as a credit on your account.
o April 7th Election
 At this time, all citizens are encouraged to vote via absentee ballot. This can be done through an online registration at http://myvote.wi.gov. Registration must be completed by 11:59 pm on March 18th, 2020. Once registered, an absentee ballot can be requested through the above website until 5 pm on April 2nd, 2020.
 Absentee applications and voter registration applications are available at City Hall, located in the front entryway. Please refer to instructions posted in the entryway to complete the application and required documentation for proof of residence.
• The Barron Public Library will be closed until further notice.
