Outdoor recreational opportunities include golf, the municipal swimming pool, tennis courts, track, football field, lighted softball/baseball fields, indoor ice arena which provides hockey and figure skating, indoor archery range, cross-country skiing & hiking trails, snowmobile trails, public hunting grounds, camping, fishing, boating and canoeing on area lakes and rivers.
