As a Chamber, we will absorb part of the meal cost to you and charge $10 per person for those who RSVP and remit payment by January 17, 2017. After January 18, the charge will be $15 per person – so please take advantage of this great opportunity!   Businesses are encouraged to bring a door prize to represent your business. We will also be giving out a number of certificates for Barron Dollars.
In conjunction with the Annual Meeting, historically we’ve acknowledged one individual in the community with a Distinguished Service Award.  If you know of an individual in the community who you believe is worthy of receiving this award, please take the time to nominate them. Halloween Spooktacular- October 29, 2016

Each year, Chamber business members have the opportunity to pass out treats to children on the Saturday before Halloween. Last year’s event brought approximately 600 children to the streets of Barron and area businesses. Businesses that choose to participate are responsible for supplying their own treats and are given an orange pumpkin to display in their business place window on that Saturday to indicate participation. This is a fun event for everyone who gets involved!

Barron "City of Lights" November 26th - December 26th
Light displays are at Barron City Hall, Barron Light & Water Dept. Barron Library and Barron County Government Center.  Area businesses and homeowners are also encouraged to decorate.

Santa’s Workshop- at the BACC December 5, 2016

The Barron Chamber of Commerce works in conjunction with the Barron Area Community Center to sponsor Santa’s Workshop. The workshop is in its tenth and has been very well received. The event allows youngsters to purchase that special holiday gift for family or loved ones and then have it gift wrapped by Santa’s helpers. Businesses have the opportunity to set up a table with their products and offer them at a price point that youngsters can afford to purchase for their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. Not only is there an opportunity for businesses to make a small profit, but also gives participating businesses that added exposure creating a positive impact on the community.

Following the shopping experience, the youngsters enjoy pizza and a movie. Not only do the kids have a great time but also the volunteers and staff who help coordinate this event.
